Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta.
While Shenzhen City does not have as many historical attractions as other famous cities in China, it has created a number of excellent theme parks which entertain while teaching visitors about China and the world. Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages introduce visitors to China's long history and varied cultures, while Window of the World will take you to every corner of the world in one day.
We took a tren from Hong Kong to Shenzen. The journey took about 45minutes.
I was suggested to go to Window of the World, but King Fui and mum disagreed, coz they have been there before. Not fair! We ended up hanging around at the most famous shopping arcade.
Mum and i thought that we can go back with full of shopping stuffs, but we get nothing. Later on, my mum suggested to contact my cousin, coz she stays in Shenzen with his husband who has been transfered to work in Shenzen. We walked to the public phone, and found there was a China guy standing inside there, assumed that he is occupying the phone. But when we looked closer, do you know what he is doing there?? .... Public phone area became public toilet. This is the worst senario i have seen. OMG!!....
From there, i have no good impression towards this city.
I suppose wanted to try the local food. After seeing the hygienic problem here, perhaps i suggested to dine in a better cafe or restaurant. We ended at this cafe at the roof top. While enjoyed the cool weather, we have our afternoon tea. I personally like the rose milk tea that i ordered. It came with a big pot. The taste is very unique.
Sorry to say that, this city is not my holiday choice.
