"10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2...1......Happy New Year 2009 !!!....... ", the DJ cheers the crowd when the clock points at 12 midnite. Immediately, the spectacular fireworks brighten up the sky.
" Wow...so amazing!..." The fireworks displayed in front of our eyes are wonderful. Every celebration fireworks show is choreographed using specialized design software, computer-controlled electrical firing systems and a wide variety of fireworks devices.
Throughout the ten minutes of fireworks shown high levels of intensity and lots of surprises throughout each display.
For a breathtaking experience, they syncronized a wide variety of different types of firework which included firework comets, floral star shells and spinners.
So close with the spectacular fireworks, but i forgot to take my own picture with the fireworks as a background!!
Firework comets (pic below)look just like a meteor entering the earth's atmosphere and burning up to leave a long, glowing tail behind. They are very striking devices, especially when fired in groups, as you see below, and when combined with other fireworks effects.
Floral star shells are probably the type of firework most widely recognized by the public. These shells burst high in the air in a pattern resembling a chrysanthemum or peony flower, or even a palm tree.
The firework spinners spin at high speed into beautiful whirlwind patterns as they reach their maximum height in the sky. When it mixed with other effects, the overall effect can be very dramatic and beautiful.
On top of the spectacular fireworks in the sky, the dazzling laser show carried out a clear message and eye catching wordings.
It's a music festival!..Some of the crazy people jumped into the water where the giant water screen located. They are ready to get wet, but as for me, i'm not into that coz i have my camera with me. Everytime they activated the wave at the beach, we have to 'run' backwards. No matter how, we were wet due to the midst as when the wind blow on the water screen.
Everybody's hands up in the air while the music played. The dazzling lights and the techno music almost make me sick!! My eyes are too sensitive to lightings! I closed my eyes and keep dancing.
Earlier on, we are entertained by fire eater show. The buffet is served from 7.30pm untill 9.30pm. I don't fancy the food.
There are a few beautiful usherettes welcoming guests at the main entrance. Here again, i met the "monster" i met during the last function in The Surf Beach. At the same time, they released a few ghosts and monsters from the Scream Park too.
I learnt from the movie named "Kungfu Panda". The master sifu said " Yesterday was a history; Tomorrow is a mystery; and today is a present". Today, i have to say "Bye Bye" to year 2008 and ushering into a better year of 2009. Nothing to regret if we did do our best to achieve our goal.

I like those selections that she played throughout the night which included Usher, Akon, Britney Spears, PCD, Ne-Yo, Katy Perry, Rihanna and many more. Those are the songs that are able to drive our body to move and dance throughout the night at the surf beach.
