Food Gossip 6 - Euro Deli,

Many years ago when i visited this restaurant, they offered a lot of different menus from the range of pork, ham till all kind of sausages. But, surprisingly, now the captain passed me the menu which only with one laminated page with about 12 items to select from.
My sis-in-law ordered chicken Schnitzel. We thought they will serve a huge portion, but surprisingly, it's not what we think of.
Where else, I ordered the Butcher platter ( Kassler Ham, Sausage & Knuckle) with Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Obviously, i wanted to try 3 different types of signature meat at once.

They served Germany buffet at RM 48++/ pax. We still prefer to order ala carte. Pork Knuckle is the signature food here. But, it's not my preference. I actually would like to try the Germany beer but i afraid i'm unable to drive back ..coz as everyone knows that " don't drink and drive"!!
King Kong helps us finished some portion, as well as to finish his own order- the Mixed Sausage plate with 3 combination of sausages.

X'mas Eve 2008 - Crazy Night

Neway is serving buffet until 11pm. In conjucntion with X'mas, they served roast Turkey, pineapple ham, roast lamb and a lot of varieties of food.

Thanks to my buddy, Michael, coz he was able to grab some raw oysters and prawns for us. No doubt, Michael is a lucky guy, coz he always get his wishes come true. Even though there are many varieties to select from, but my fussy tongue only went for oysters and certain food that i like. Basically, i didn't eat much.
Thumbs up to the Baked Oyster with cheese and curry powder.

At the begining, the ladies had their Kampai. Later on, all we had were heineken and Scotch Whisky.
The alcohol flowing through our veins. We get high! Michael even removed his shirt to show his "muscle" in front of us! In fact, he has no 6 packs, but tummy! How about myself?...ermm...i did a crazy thing worst than Michael.
No Santa Claus, No fireworks, No romantic X'mas dinner, No lover, yet, we still enjoyed the night. What a wonderful night! We sing, we dance, we drink, we laugh...... until 5 am. This year's Christmas, i received something "extra" in my life. It doesn't mind good nor bad, coz it was like a dream, and i wish i will not wake up from the dream so soon.Sales Carnival : Behind The Scene
This is the annual year end sales Carnival which was held at Sunway Convention Centre, Sunway. I did contributed a lot of creative ideas for this Carnival. I mortified our childhood board game -"snake and ladder" into a giant board game with the size of 20ft x 20ft.

The game that i designed consist of 36 spaces, where every space offers different prizes, except those spaces where a police traffic stationed, the player will receive a "saman" and compulsory to pay the penalty.
The company get a pretty good sales during a few hours Sales Carnival. Bravo!! However, thanks to the staffs who gave their full cooperation and hard work. Some even sleep less than 3 hours the night before the actual event.
As early as 7.30am, there are some outstation guests arrived at the venue. They can't wait to get more early bird goodies. The event is filled with new product lauching, lucky draws, fun fare game stalls, Santa claus walkabout, special sales, product demo and consultation and so on.
The idea of building a product Twin Tower became a major contest on that day. My initial idea is to encourage more people to attend the event by offering cash prize. Obviously, most of the guests are excited to get the right answer. Some that are close with me even try his/her luck to get the correct answer, but, to be fair, i need to dissappoint them.
Immediate the Sales Carnival is over, we continued with another event in the Pyramid Ballroom from 3.00pm untill 8.00pm.
Before the event starts, just in time for me to snap a few pictures for my future references.
This little kid was runining around, with my Santa's deer hairband.
" Snowman, come come..give me a big hug!" .......haha....

We started the set up at around 8pm the night before the actual event. We have about less than 3 hours sleep before we get ready for the 12 hours event. At the end of the event, we are so exhausted, but luckily the tireness doesn't too obvious on my face. In fact, my legs is really painful. On the way home, i almost felt that my leg is not belong to my body. Just imagine how tired i was.Wedding Banquet at Berjaya Times Square
Hong Kong cinema star couple Carina Lau and Tony Leung finally tied the knot in Bhutan after 19 years love. It's not easy to bring a relationship thus far.
Here, Peter Lau and his wife finally get to the altar after 18-19 years love marathon. They knew each other when they were 19 years old.
Something that i would like to hightlight is that the groom, Peter Lau is consider a successful enterpreneur. Before the mid of 30's, he has been to most of the countries around the world, i.e Canada, Denmark, NZ, Australia, South Africa, China, Poland, UK and so on..just to name a few.
The wedding banquet was held in Berjaya Times Square KL. Arrived at the venue, I still have time to take some photos before the ceremony starts. These are the standard decorations provided in the hotel wedding package which included the ice craving, wedding cake, PA System, stage backdrop, wordings and flower stands.

Immediate after the starter, roasted chicken with sesame and plum saurce was served before Deep fried garoupa fish with Thai sauce.

While Wok-fried tiger prawns with nestum and pandan leaf was served, the newly weds couple were having some games on stage.
At around 10.30pm, stewed black mushroom and pacific clam with Hong Kong kailan was served. After this dish, some of the guests left the ballroom.
There were orange juice, chinese tea, red wine, black label and heineken available for guests. I had four different drinks on my table. At the end, i only managed to finish 1 glass of red wine and 1 glass of orange juice.
