Food Gossip 6 - Euro Deli,

My eldest brother, King Kong suggested a dinner at Restaurant Euro Deli Grill at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. I arrived earlier, while waiting for my brother and sis-in-law, i walked around and snapped some photos.

This is my third visit to Euro Deli. This restaurant serves Swiss-German delicacies. Diners who like meat in their meals will definitely like this place.

Many years ago when i visited this restaurant, they offered a lot of different menus from the range of pork, ham till all kind of sausages. But, surprisingly, now the captain passed me the menu which only with one laminated page with about 12 items to select from.
My sis-in-law ordered chicken Schnitzel. We thought they will serve a huge portion, but surprisingly, it's not what we think of.

Where else, I ordered the Butcher platter ( Kassler Ham, Sausage & Knuckle) with Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Obviously, i wanted to try 3 different types of signature meat at once.

They served Germany buffet at RM 48++/ pax. We still prefer to order ala carte. Pork Knuckle is the signature food here. But, it's not my preference. I actually would like to try the Germany beer but i afraid i'm unable to drive back ..coz as everyone knows that " don't drink and drive"!!

King Kong helps us finished some portion, as well as to finish his own order- the Mixed Sausage plate with 3 combination of sausages.

Euro Deli is now affectionately known as “The Sausage King ”. Frankly said, i have no knowledge about sausage, but i guess, the 3 combinations should be Farmer's sausage, Nuernberger and Emmenthaler.

Today, the tantalising range of quality Euro Deli products are readily found in supermarkets and hypermarket chain stores all over the country, namely in Cold Storage, Giant, AEON Jusco, Tesco and Carrefour.
