Wedding Banquet at Berjaya Times Square

Hong Kong cinema star couple Carina Lau and Tony Leung finally tied the knot in Bhutan after 19 years love. It's not easy to bring a relationship thus far.

Here, Peter Lau and his wife finally get to the altar after 18-19 years love marathon. They knew each other when they were 19 years old.

Something that i would like to hightlight is that the groom, Peter Lau is consider a successful enterpreneur. Before the mid of 30's, he has been to most of the countries around the world, i.e Canada, Denmark, NZ, Australia, South Africa, China, Poland, UK and so on..just to name a few.

The wedding banquet was held in Berjaya Times Square KL. Arrived at the venue, I still have time to take some photos before the ceremony starts. These are the standard decorations provided in the hotel wedding package which included the ice craving, wedding cake, PA System, stage backdrop, wordings and flower stands.

The dinner was served at around 9pm. Look at the menu! It started with Four hot and cold combination, followed by Braised shark fin soup with crabmeat.
Immediate after the starter, roasted chicken with sesame and plum saurce was served before Deep fried garoupa fish with Thai sauce.

While Wok-fried tiger prawns with nestum and pandan leaf was served, the newly weds couple were having some games on stage.
At around 10.30pm, stewed black mushroom and pacific clam with Hong Kong kailan was served. After this dish, some of the guests left the ballroom.
There were orange juice, chinese tea, red wine, black label and heineken available for guests. I had four different drinks on my table. At the end, i only managed to finish 1 glass of red wine and 1 glass of orange juice.

Playback of the wedding photo video on the projector screen. The tree in this picture appeared in most of the wedding photos taken by diferent couples. I wonder where is this place?
Preparation for wedding is a tired event. Nowadays, people tend to simplifly the procedure. More than saying " i Do", the groom and the bride have more responsible after married with another type of life together.

I left the banquet at around 11pm before the event over.
