Kuala Selangor

Kuala Selangor, a place that famous for its firefly park.

Fireflies are also called “Lightning Bugs”. This is the entrance to the firefly park. As you can see, there is an entrace fee of RM12/ per person per boat ride of 30mins.

It is an experience to be curising on the boat along the river in the night to capture the beauty of this natural wonder. The best time to watch is 1 to 4 hours after sunset. The modern fiberglass boats are electrically powered, ensuring absolutely no noise and air polluation.
The growth of the firefly must be mingled with the water of the runnels, woods and environment. The river must meet in the intersection of the fresh and salt-water. “Berembang” trees must be something that fancied fireflies a lot, in addition to this factors, the environment must be in its tranquility besides free from contamination.

Human beings converse through the language whereas firefly delivers the signal by giving a light. The firefly gives a light, for the purpose of alluring, admonishing, intimidating predatory hunter, illumination, camouflaging and generating birth.

This wooden chalets are used to be a hotel many years ago. Now it is a abandoned unit and you hardly notice it where a lot of trees and bunches covered most of the area.
