Shopping Fun in Bangkok

This year, the sudden weather changes in Bangkok make me sick. The weather was very cold, at about 12 degree celsious at one beautiful morning and equally cold at night. We turned off the air-cond when we sleep.

I went to Four Face Buddha to pray for a better year ahead for myself, as well as for my family members.

Erawan Shine is located at the junction of Ratchadamri Road and Phloenchit Road. How to get there? You either can go by Skytrain to Siam Square if you are from the Silom Line or skytrain to Chit Lom Station if you are in Sukhumvit Line.

According to the locals, we can repay the buddha's deep kindness by engaging a group of performer to perform in the temple.Even though the Xmas is over by early January 2009, but, luckily the hotel has not dismantle the X'mas decoration yet.

See what they have at the hotel lobby? The hotel covered the floor with white cotton woods. On top of that, there are Santa Claus, Snow deers, White X'mas tree, giants gift boxes and so on to complete the X'mas mood.

Chatuchak weekend market is famous for shopping. It covers an area of 35 acres, contains more than 15 000 shops and stalls, has over 200 000 visitors each day.

The weather is windy and cooling. Therefore, it's nice to walk around without sweat.

I saw a stall which selling coconut. I have not seen this way of serving the coconut. The stall owner removed coconut shell and we can eat the coconut meat without hassle.
Chatuchak is a particularly good place to buy all sorts of Thai handicrafts, as there's a huge range, the quality is high and the intense competition keeps the prices low. Those are the things available are include household accessories, handicrafts, religious artifacts, art, antiques, live animals, books, music, clothes, food, plants and flowers etc...

See! i bought some ( not a lot), for my new house and sourvenirs for my mum and sister.

Central World Plaza is the largest shopping mall in Bangkok. We can find most of the luxury brands in the mall. There is a Green Space statue standing right in front of the main entrance of Central World.
In front of Central World, there is a large rectangular square. In the evening, a huge crowds often gather here to have a drink in the open air bars.

Thailand's tallest hotel, rising 88 storeys above the Bangkok skyline, strategically located in the heart of downtown, surrounded by bustling market and entertainment attractions.

This high rise building is situated near to the Pratunam wholesale market. We walked from Central World to Partunam.
Look at the cable! Nowadays, they have not improve the wiring system.

After a few days in Bangkok, these are the shopping stuffs i have from the different shopping districts. I have to crack my head to think of how to store my shopping stuffs in my baggage.

OMG!...overloaded!!! At the check-in counter, the baggage with the weight of 18kg.
