Hong Kong, Summer June'08

My first time to go HK by Air Asia after they launched their route to HK. There are three flights depart to Macau, Shenzen and last to Hong Kong respectively at the same time. The response is overwhelming. Which means, everybody really can fly now.

The flight landed at HKIA at 11.00am. Happily past through immigration and grabbed my baggage, i walked towards the pathway to the bus stand (cheaper abt HK$14). Surprisingly there was a man who stopped me and told me that all the roads to or in airport is closed. I thought he was joking with me. Finally, i was informed that HK is attacked by black rain storm and it caused the landslides and seriuos flood.

No choice. I took the airport tren to Kowloon, then took a cab to Whampoa Garden. You see, my two brothers so bad, don't even come to rescue me!!! worst is..they already taken their lunch without me.

I arrived home at around 1.30pm. Watching the news reported, the flood is getting serious and subsequently transportation system is badly affected. A lot of tourists stucked in HKIA. The only transportation out or in HKIA available was pack like sardine. Then i know, i was lucky coz i arrived a few hours ealier than the others.

In the afternoon, we went out for a walk. The weather is bad. We have no mood to continue the shopping. Therefore we decided to enjoy our afternoon tea at Charlie Brown Cafe, at Cameron Road, TST.

On the way back, Joshua bought tarts from one of the famous pie and tart shops in TST for supper.

Next day, joshua and i took a bus from kowloon to HK island. We stopped at Wai Chai for our breakfast. This is a famous shop for its "yin yong", milk tea, chicken pie and egg tarts. This shop is not located at the tourist spots so one is hardly find the way.

If you're able to find the way, you must try the chicken pie!!

erm..Jolly shandy in lychee favour, not available in Malaysia yet. Not forget to eat my favourite dessert in " Fatt Kei". There are Glutinous Rice Roll of Mango 芒果糯糯米卷 and durian pancake.

After shopping in MongKok, we enjoyed our dinner at Hokaido Sushi Restaurant. Look, what had we ordered ...
of coz not forget my fresh salmon....
soft shelf crab rolled with avocado and cucumber.

Carlifonia roll, with unagi.
Scallop sushi.
guess what? It's unagi.
erm..what are they talking about? seem so serious!?

Erm..must eat this one. Baked cheese scallop.

Salmon with avacado and salad.
After japanese dinner, we proceed to Langham Place in order to taste the signature dessert at Honeymoon dessert house.

Durian pancake again!

King Fui and Joshua like this. Its a combination of durian, red bean in a fresh creamy vanila.

We met one of the Malaysia born artiest, Lee Shin Jie in Causeway bay. She was promoting her new film. One can get free ticket by donating money to Sizhuan fund. My brother donated and get 2 free movie tickets.

I asked her to take photo with us. Not forget to chat with her for a short while and told her that she is pretty.
King fui hold the camera, has no chance to take photo with her. After the incident, he was so upset coz he didn't able to get into the picture.
After a tired shopping afternoon, we stopped at one of the restaurant which serve macau signature food. We ordered milk tea, pork chop burger and portugese egg tart. Nothing special!!..
While i went to Macau, Joshua and king fui went to take photos with the new icons installed in the Arena of Star. Look at them!!.....

Doesn't return to KL with many shopping stuffs, but with my big tummy!!...yummy....
